Instructions
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and rinse in cold water
Sauce
Heat olive oil in large sauce pot or stock pot over medium high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until just translucent, but not brown.
Add beef and sausage, breaking up large clumps with a spoon. After meat is no longer pink add shredded carrots and saute for 3 minutes.
Add in herbs and chili flakes and stir to combine. Add tomato paste and stir until mixed thoroughly. Cook for 3 minutes more.
Pour in crushed tomatoes and red wine if using. If not using wine pour water into empty crushed tomato can to rinse, and put into sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes. While simmering you can prepare filling.
Lasagna
Preheat oven to 375. Drain pasta and dry on paper towels or kitchen towel. Place thin layer of sauce on bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Topped with lasagna. Spoon a layer of the cheese mixture over noodles and spread to coat evenly. Layer with more sauce and 1/3 cup mozzarella and sprinkle of paremsan. Repeat twice more for a total of 3 layers. Cover with foil and place in oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil and cook for additional 10 minutes

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450° F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
Take the bread and run it under water until dampened but not soaked. Gently squeeze the excess water out of the bread and then crumble the dampened bread into pieces.
In a bowl, combine the sausage, chicken, bread crumble, eggs, shallots, garlic, pepperoncinis, and a pinch each of salt and pepper. Coat your hands with olive oil, then roll the meat into balls (about 2 tablespoons meat per ball), and place them into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until the meatballs are crisp on the outside, but not yet cooked through on the inside.
Remove from the oven and pour the marinara over top the meatballs. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 15 minutes longer, or until the meatballs are cooked through. Remove the foil and add the cheeses and oregano. Bake until the cheese is melted and golden, about 10 minutes. Serve topped with fresh oregano.

Notes
Ground Spicy Italian Chicken Sausage: I buy ground chicken sausage at Whole Foods. If you can’t find it, you can make your own by adding the following spice mix to 1 pound ground chicken:
1 tablespoon each of fennel seed, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper; 2 teaspoons each of cayenne (or less, if you don’t want it too spicy), paprika, and garlic powder; and 1 teaspoon each of smoked paprika and crushed red pepper flakes.

Instructions
Steam the brocolli until tender-crisp and set aside.
To make the white cheddar sauce:
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of flour at a time, whisking well after each addition. Cook for 2-3 minutes, being careful not to brown the roux.
Add the warm milk slowly, whisking constantly. When all the milk has been added bring to a boil (keep whisking). Immediately remove from heat, season with salt and pepper.
Stir in the heavy cream, then add 1 cup of the white cheddar cheese, whisking to incorporate. Add the remaining cup of cheddar cheese, again whisking until sauce is smooth.
To assemble:
Butter the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with half the butter. Spread the cooked pasta over the bottom of the dish then layer the steamed broccoli florets over the pasta. Lastly add the cooked shredded chicken over the broccoli. Pour the white cheddar sauce, as evenly as possible over the top of the casserole, shifting contents to remove an large air pokets.
Make the topping:
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a sauté pan. Remove from heat and add the panko bread crumbs. Stir to coast crumbs with butter. Top the casserole evenly with the crumb topping.
Bake casserole uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.

Instructions
Cook pasta according to instructions. Drain and set aside.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Roll pie dough to fit a 9 inch pie plate. Place the bottom crust in a pie plate, crimp edges, and chill for at least 20 minutes before baking.
Line the chilled pie crust with foil and fill halfway up with dried beans, rice, or baking weights.
Bake in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. Remove foil and weights and bake until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Reduce the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from pan to drain.
Blot out some of the oil from the skillet, leaving 1 to 2 teaspoons.
Add leeks, onion, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cook and stir until tender and golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Set aside.
Whisk eggs, egg yolks, cream, and milk together in a large bowl. Add thyme and stir to combine.
Sprinkle 2/3 of onion-leek mixture on the bottom of the baked crust. Top with 1/3 cooked bacon and 2/3 Gruyere cheese. Ladle in egg mixture carefully.
Sprinkle with remaining onion-leek mixture, remaining bacon, and remaining Gruyere cheese.
Bake filled quiche in the preheated oven until browned and set, and no longer jiggly in the center, 40 to 45 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Sautee the peppers and onions in a little olive oil for about 5 minutes, until they’ve softened and the onions start to become translucent
Add in the breakfast sausage and spices and crumble it up with your spatula
Cook everything together for about 6-8 minutes until the sausage is fully cooked
Add in the beaten eggs and stir them into the sausage mixture

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400˚. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it's a very flat, large rectangle, about 11 by 18 inches. Spread with the marinara sauce, leaving a 1-inch border all around, then sprinkle with the parmesan, oregano, and salt. Evenly top with the mozzarella slices and half of the pepperoni.
Unwrap the string cheese and arrange it in a line on one long edge of the dough. Starting from that long edge, roll up the dough as tightly as possible so that the string cheese winds up in the middle of the roll. Pinch the seam of the dough to seal, then flip seam-side down. Slice into 1-inch pieces with a serrated knife and place the rolls cut-side up in a 12-inch round baking dish or cast-iron skillet. Tuck the remaining pepperoni into the folds of the pizza rolls, leaving just a little sticking out. Allow the rolls to rise at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Bake the rolls until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Instructions
Make the pizza dough:
To make the pizza dough, combine 1/3 cup of the lukewarm water, dry yeast and sugar in a small bowl and mix well. Cover with a lid and keep aside for 5 minutes. Combine the plain flour, yeast-water mixture, remaining lukewarm water, olive oil and salt in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough. Cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 1 hour.
Make the pizza sauce:
To make pizza sauce, make criss-cross on the base of the tomatoes and place them in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes or till the skin begins to peel. Drain the tomatoes, cool slightly, peel, deseed and roughly chop them and blend in a mixer to a smooth pulp. Keep aside. Heat the olive oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds. Add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the prepared tomato pulp, oregano, red pepper flakes, ketchup, chili powder and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Add the sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Store the pizza sauce in an air- tight container and use as required.
To assemble and cook the pizzas:
When ready to cook the pizzas, preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Press the dough lightly to remove the air and divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Roll each portion into a 12 inch diameter circle and place on 2 pizza pans. Prick each circle evenly using a fork. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 360 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Remove pizza pans and place on a heat proof surface. Put 1/3 cup pizza sauce on each pizza and spread it evenly. Arrange ¼ cup sliced onions and ¼ cup sliced capsicum evenly over it. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated cheese and sprinkle a little oregano and chilli flakes evenly over it. Finally drizzle a little olive oil. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to make 1 more pizza. Bake for 12 minutes or till the pizza turns crisp and the cheese melts. Cut the pizzas into equal wedges and serve immediately.

Instructions
1. Coat large saute pan with oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown chicken over medium heat, allow 7 minutes each side or until no longer pink. Sprinkle chicken with cumin, garlic powder and Mexican spices before turning. Remove chicken to a platter, allow to cool.
2. Saute onion and garlic in chicken drippings until tender. Add corn and chiles. Stir well to combine. Add canned tomatoes, saute 1 minute.
3. Pull chicken breasts apart by hand into shredded strips. Add shredded chicken to saute pan, combine with vegetables. Dust the mixture with flour to help set.
4. Microwave tortillas on high for 30 seconds. This softens them and makes them more pliable. Coat the bottom of 2 (13 by 9-inch) pans with a ladle of enchilada sauce. Using a large shallow bowl, dip each tortilla in enchilada sauce to lightly coat. Spoon 1/4 cup chicken mixture in each tortilla. Fold over filling, place 8 enchiladas in each pan with seam side down. Top with remaining enchilada sauce and cheese.
5. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 350 degree F oven until cheese melts. Garnish with cilantro an sour cream before serving.

Caramelize the onions
Heat stockpot over medium heat, add butter and melt.
Add sliced onions, black pepper, and garlic powder and sauté 10-15 minutes until onions are caramelized.
When onions are caramelized, add sherry to pot. Cook with onions until sherry is absorbed.
Simmer the soup
Add beef broth, bay leaves, thyme springs, Worcestershire, and salt to taste. Continue to cook until the soup reaches a simmer. Then reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Discard the bay leaf and thyme springs. Taste the soup and season with salt and pepper as needed.
Toast the bread
Preheat oven to broiler. While the soup is simmering, slice the baguette into 1-inch thick pieces and arrange them in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 2-3 minutes, until the bread is toasted and golden around the edges. Keep a close eye on them so that they do not burn. Remove and set aside.
Broil the topping
Keep oven on the broiler. Once the soup is ready to serve, place the oven-safe bowls on a thick baking sheet. Ladle the soup into each bowl, then top with a baguette slice and a slice of the cheese.
Place on an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat and broil for 2-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye on them so that they do not burn.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately while the soup is hot and bubbly.

Instructions
Turn your pressure cooker on to the saute mode and add the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter.
When hot add the onions and mushrooms, sautéing for several minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Add to the pot with the vegetables and stir. Lightly pat mixture into an even layer.
Add the rice on top of the chicken, again in an even layer.
Next add the stock and white wine.
Lock the lid on, making sure the pressure valve release is closed. Set to high pressure for 5 minutes. If using brown rice, cook for 10 minutes.
When finished press Cancel and use the quick release method to release the pressure.
Remove the lid and stir in the broccoli and the peas and carrots. Place the lid back on and let stand 5 minutes.
Remove lid and stir in the parmesan cheese and remaining tablespoon butter.
Serve immediately with additional parmesan cheese if desired.

Add the dry macaroni, water, butter, hot pepper, white pepper, and salt to the pressure cooker bowl. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. Quick-release pressure and remove lid.
Stir the pasta to release some of the moisture from the macaroni (do not drain).
Add half of the milk, stir, then add the cheese a handful at a time stirring between each addition, until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner sauce.
Stir in the cream and adjust salt if necessary. Best served immediately.
Notes: Keep in mind when recipes are scaled back: You need at least 1 cup of liquid in order for the pressure cooker to come to pressure, so if the amounts are too small this could be a problem. Alternately you can cook on the stovetop. Also, just like when cooking rice, water ratios change as amounts change.

Heat ½ of the olive oil in a large, high-walled skillet and add the finely diced onions and garlic. Soften for 5 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, whisked egg, milk, cooled onions/garlic, salt, oregano, allspice, nutmeg, and pepper. Gently incorporate the meat until evenly combined, but without overworking it (otherwise the meatballs will be tough instead of tender).
Roll into 1 ½-inch meatballs and place on a plate. (A small cookie scoop makes it easier to roll balls of uniform size.) Transfer to the fridge and let them chill for 15 minutes, or up to overnight. Cover if chilling overnight.
While the meatballs chill, combine the beef broth, chicken bouillon, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon, and parsley in a large measuring cup with a spout. Set aside.
Heat remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Brown the meatballs in batches, leave plenty of room around each so that you can easily rotate them with a spoon to brown on all sides. Brown for about 1 minute per side. Remove and set aside. Add additional oil and/or decrease heat slightly as needed throughout cooking.
Melt the butter in the same skillet and use a silicone spatula to “clean” the bottom of the skillet. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring continuously, until it begins to brown.
Add the beef broth mixture in small splashes, stirring continuously. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Place the sour cream in a medium bowl. Spoon some of the sauce into the bowl (about ¼ cup), and stir until well-combined. Stir it into the sauce over low heat until incorporated.
Add the meatballs back to the skillet along with any juices from the plate. Spoon the sauce on top. Allow them to heat through over low heat for 10-15 minutes (or until cooked through), partially covered. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.

Instructions
1. Coat large saute pan with oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown chicken over medium heat, allow 7 minutes each side or until no longer pink. Sprinkle chicken with cumin, oregano, and chili powder before turning. Remove chicken to a platter, allow to cool.
2. Add chiles, stir well to combine. Add canned tomatoes, saute 1 minute.
3. Pull chicken breasts apart by hand into shredded strips. Add shredded chicken to saute pan, combine with vegetables. Dust the mixture with flour to help set.
4. Microwave tortillas on high for 30 seconds. This softens them and makes them more pliable. Coat the bottom of 2 (13 by 9-inch) pans with a ladle of enchilada sauce. Using a large shallow bowl, dip each tortilla in enchilada sauce to lightly coat. Spoon 1/4 cup chicken mixture in each tortilla. Fold over filling, place 8 enchiladas in each pan with seam side down. Top with remaining enchilada sauce and cheese.
5. Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 350 degree F oven until cheese melts. Garnish with cilantro an sour cream before serving.

Bring a large pot water to a boil over high heat. Season generously with salt.
Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, turning as needed, until the fat has rendered and the bacon is golden and crispy, 8 to 10 minutes.
