canned chickpeas
rinsed and drained

For sauteing:

Instructions
Add chickpeas to a large bowl, mash them with a fork. Add the remainder of the ingredients, and mix well.
Form into equal sized patties, 2 per serving. Place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to give the patties time to become firm.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. When hot, place the patties in the skillet and sauté for 4-6 minutes per side.
Reheating Instructions
Heat in sauté pan over medium heat until heated through.
