Ingredients
1tablespoonavocado oiloptional
3pound99% lean ground turkey
1yellow onionfinely diced
3teaspoonKosher saltmore or less to taste
3tablespoonchili powder
1tablespoonground cumin
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
½teaspooncayenne peppermore or less to taste
Instructions
Mix together all the ingredients. Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the turkey mixture. Cook slowly so the turkey releases it’s juices and no longer sticks to the pan, about 15 minutes. Mix frequently, breaking up the turkey into small pieces.
Reheating Instructions
Heat in a sauté pan over medium heat or in the microwave until heated through.
