Cooking Tools Required

Cutting board, Kitchen towels, Measuring cups and spoons, Mixing bowls, Mixing spoon, Sharp Knives, Skillet, Top Stove

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil optional
  • 3 pound 99% lean ground turkey
  • 1 yellow onion finely diced
  • 3 teaspoon Kosher salt more or less to taste
  • 3 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper more or less to taste

Instructions

  • Mix together all the ingredients. Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the turkey mixture. Cook slowly so the turkey releases it’s juices and no longer sticks to the pan, about 15 minutes. Mix frequently, breaking up the turkey into small pieces.
Reheating Instructions
Heat in a sauté pan over medium heat or in the microwave until heated through.
