Lemon Sauteed Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 pound asparagus trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon zested and cut into wedges

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus. Season with salt and pepper. Saute for 3-5 minutes, until asparagus turns bright green but is still slightly crisp. Add lemon zest in last minute of cooking time. When done, squeeze with a bit of lemon juice if desired.
Reheating Instructions
Heat in saute pan over medium high heat until heated through.
