This simple but flavorful rice pairs especially well with Shrimp and Vegetable Stir Fry or Green Chili Pork .

3cupjasmine white rice
1limejuiced and zested
Rinse rice under cold water; drain. Combine rice and water in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the garlic, salt and zest, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, keep covered, and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Stir in the cilantro and lime juice.
Heat in microwave, covered, on high heat until warm.
